It is always nice to have some vintage machines with a little story or history. I got this machine from my unlce who always made a lot of leather and heavy canvas goods for his personal needs when going hunting or fishing. He owned this Adler 4-2 for the last 40 years and according to the files the machine must be somewhere from the early 30s. So I think this is pretty awsome. After some cleaning and adjusting I made the first tests. Being used to modern industrial machines this is something different. Not the most precise sewing but great for the heavy stuff. So the first test was sewing a leather patch on one of our new heavy weight denims.
