Our 1941 Utility Trousers take their inspiration from the legendary P1941 Trousers of the U.S. Marine Corps. The P1941 was a field attire consisting a pair of trousers and a simple jacket. The ensemble was used for basic training and all kinds of field duties. It was used from 1941 to the end of WW2 and was the most used field uniform of the Corps. We have recreated the P41 trousers down to the last detail. As fabric, we have woven the typical herringbone twill in the light olive drab shade used by the Corps. Herringbone Twill or HBT is lightweight, breathable and dries quickly when wet. Two slash pockets at the front and two patch pockets in the back create the typical outline. The fit is relaxed as it was common in the 1940s and can be well worn with boots or sneakers. Typical donut buttons in copper optic are used for the button fly.
