Classic Western Wear always had a strong focus on usability. Life in the saddle had specific requirements for garments, and over centuries certain garments developed for best wear but also to characterize the wearer. One characteristic piece of equipment for cowboys was western shirts.

They had a distinctive fit and chest pocket shapes, making them easily recognizable. The variety of fabrics they made of ranged from soft, plain cotton chambray fabric to very colorful polyester fabrics.

The most common ones during the 1950s were made from denim due to their hard-wearing yet comfortable fabric.
Our 1952 Rider Shirt is based on a classic western shirt. As the originals, we kept a simple but classic silhouette and made it from very rich denim from the Italian Mill Candiani.

It is great for everyday wear and will fade great over time.
