1936 Chopper Pant - workpants of that time

Our 1936 Chopper Pant has its origin in woodworking. Pants for carpenters and joiners have undergone a special development over the last century as regular work pants. Specific details were often the front patch pockets and a carpenter's pocket on the thigh. Like work pants of that time, the cut was extensive and the waist high, as they were intended as overpants. To prevent the pants from being lost due to the wide cut, suspender buttons and a waistband were a fixed part of the pants of that time.

All of these details can also be found on our 1936 Chopper Pant. The wide cut and high waist are particularly comfortable and offer very good freedom of movement. The large pockets on the front and back offer plenty of storage space and the typical carpenter's pocket is not missing either. As an additional detail, a D-ring on the front was also intended for a pocket watch chain. Of course, the corresponding small pocket for the watch is also included.

By the way, the name does not come from the chopper motorcycle culture but from "To Chop down a tree" - from chopping down trees. The direct connection to woodworking.

The following details make up the appearance of our 1936 Chopper Pant:

  • High waist, loose fit
  • Button fly
  • Waistband
  • Suspender buttons
  • Carpenter's pocket
  • Made in Turkey

These pants are not only functional but also stylish, with their vintage look and attention to detail. The loose fit and high waist make them comfortable for all-day wear, while the various pockets provide ample storage space for tools and personal items. The 1936 Chopper Pant is a tribute to the hard-working craftsmen who inspired them, and they are sure to become a favorite of anyone who appreciates quality workwear.
