B10 Flight Jacket – The Jacket That Won The War

When the B10 was introduced in 1943 it quickly became the most favorable jacket available. Being the successor of the sheepskin flying jackets like the B3 and the B6 it was way more versatile as its ancestors. Less bulky, with better insulation and stepping up the game in style it quickly became a highly sought after piece of equipment. Not only for US Airmen but also for ground troops and generals like Macauliffe and Gavin. It set new standards also in practicability and became the mother of many generations of flight jackets up until the 1980s.

Because of the historical significance and its unbeatable versatility it is a permanent component of our collection.
