Button-Fly Buttons

The Pike Brothers "Button-Fly" Buttons

Before zippers found their way into the world of jeans, buttons were the gold standard.

The so‑called button‑fly buttons were made from sturdy metals – often copper, brass, or steel – and withstood even the toughest wear.

In the working world and during the advancing industrialization of the 19th and 20th centuries, they became a hallmark of true workwear.

We make our jeans buttons just as they were during the Gold Rush era – with the characteristic donut buttons and two‑prong rivets.

Donut‑shaped buttons and rivets with two prongs that, when hammered in, spread against each other for maximum hold.

A small detail that, for us, is part of the historical DNA of a proper pair of jeans.
