Goliath Cord – The heavy but gentle giant

Cord and especially heavy cord has been a substantial part of European workwear since the 18th century, especially among woodworkers like carpenters who widely use it until today. 

Traditional craftsmen's fabric is still cord. Goliath cord is the heaviest version used in workwear. It has 610 grams which are equal to 21oz. 

Despite its very heavy structure, it is surprisingly soft and comfortable. The abrasion-resistant characteristics make it a great companion for all sorts of work or activities. Its rich history and excellent characteristics make it a must for our collection.
