Selvage Denim - Made the way it used to be
Real denim starts on traditional shuttle looms – just as it did more than a century ago.
For our Selvage Denim, we work with selected mills in Turkey, Italy and Japan, where these rare machines are still kept alive.
Its signature is the self-finished edge with the characteristic red selvage line – a mark of more than 100 years of craftsmanship.
Woven from premium long-staple cotton and dyed with deep indigo, our denim is built to last. Available in 11 oz for a lighter, more flexible feel or 15 oz for a heavier, denser character.
But real denim is made to be worn. Over time, it softens, fades and develops its own unique patina – shaped by the way you live in it.
Wash less. Wear more.
Air your jeans whenever possible. When washing is necessary, turn them inside out, wash separately at max. 30°C with mild detergent and let them air dry. No bleach, fabric softener or tumble dryer.
At Pike Brothers, we believe good denim gets better with age.
It gets personal.
Hard-wearing, authentic and made to be worn for years – maybe even generations.
We make denim the way it used to be.
