STYLE OF THE WEEK - Buttons before belts
Before belts became the everyday choice, braces were the standard. Trousers sat higher on the waist, felt more comfortable and moved naturally with the person wearing them.
The 1936 Chopper Pant still carries those original suspender buttons.
Add the 1927 Harvester Braces and the 1927 Henley Shirt in Iron Grey and you end up with a combination that has hardly changed over the years.
Not because nobody thought of something new, but because this simply worked.
