1923 Surveyor Glasses black

Cellulose acetate - the selvage denim of eyewear materials. Cellulose acetate or acetate eyewear revolutionized the eyewear market in the 1920s and 1930s.
However, the plastic has natural roots. Acetate is made from cotton and processed through a chemical process to create a durable, lightweight material that is easy to color. Just like 100 years ago, we have the basic material for our eyewear, the acetate plates, manufactured in Italian. These plates are then further processed by hand in Portugal. The shapes we use all have historical roots and are classics in the history of eyewear.
We offer the glasses with and without sun lenses. As lenses for our sunglasses we only use well-known manufacturers like Zeiss or Sel Optical.

Our 1923 Surveyor frame is a classic of 1920s. The frame is milled, polished and assembled by hand in Portugal.

The following details distinguish our 1923 Surveyor:

- 100% Italian cellulose acetate
- Nose bridge 12mm
- Lenses: Zeiss
- Handmade in Portugal
