1946 Mountaineer Boots Black
Our 1946 Mountaineer boots are modelled on mountain boots from the 1940s. Mountain boots from this period were typically welted. To make them more durable and water-repellent, they were fitted with a Norwegian seam. The Norwegian seam or double seam additionally connects the insole to the midsole, making the boot more torsion-resistant. It also ensures that water cannot penetrate the shoe as quickly.
This method was typically used for outdoor shoes and boots. Just like the originals from that era, we have also produced our 1946 Mountaineer Boots with Norwegian seams.
The following details characterise our 1946 Mountaineer Boots:
- 100% cowhide leather
- Norwegian seams
- All-terrain sole
- Quick lacing eyelets
- Made in Portugal
