1966 Boonie Hat Tiger gold

Our 1966 Boonie Hats are the classic representation of American sun and jungle hats, as worn by American G.I.s during the Vietnam War. Originally part of the tropical gear designed to protect soldiers from rain and sun, Boonie Hats became not only an essential part of the soldiers' kit but also a symbol of the peace movement of the late 1960s.

Boonie Hats were produced in various styles and fabrics, making them a very individual piece of clothing. We have modeled our design on one of the common styles and revived it using various fabrics.
