1967 CPO Shirt 21oz Denim

The CPO shirt is a shirt that was originally worn by the US Navy and designed for Chief Petty Officers (CPOs). It is a heavy shirt, usually made of wool, which is often worn as a kind of light jacket. Its characteristic features are its robust materials, two breast pockets and classic collar. Originally part of the uniform, it has found its way into civilian outdoor wear over the years and is also an integral part of our collection.
The 1967 CPO Shirt is a further development and features two additional slip pockets.
The 21oz denim is produced exclusively for us in Japan according to an old recipe on old shooter looms at the Collect weaving mill.

The following details characterise our 1967 CPO Shirt:

- 21oz selvage denim made from 100% cotton, woven exclusively for us on old Schützen looms in Japan by Collect
- Authentic 1940s cut
- Two additional slit pockets
- Made in Turkey
