1952 Okinawa Boots olive drab
Our 1952 Okinawa Boots have their origins in the jungles of south-east Asia. Special Forces elements stationed in Okinawa were mainly involved in the developement and testing of the boots. Hence the name Okinawa Boots amongst collectors. The design was based on WW2 Buckle Boots with the upper elements made of canvas for better breathability.
As the originals our boots are goodyear welted and we have even reproduced the original jungle soles.
The following details characterize our 1952 Okinawa Boots:
- Lower: made of cowhide; Upper: 100 % cotton canvas and cowhide
