Hickory Stripe has been around for well over a century. Long associated with American railroad workers, the striped cotton fabric was a practical choice for people spending their days around steam, coal, grease and machinery. The pattern helped disguise the inevitable marks of the job, while the sturdy fabric could handle daily wear.
This week, that familiar stripe comes in a different shade.
