1943 CPO Shirt Moleskin Sulphur Black
The U.S. Navy CPO shirt – a classic among outdoor shirts.
Life on deck was and is a rough business. That's why clothing had to be specially designed to withstand wind and weather. Over the decades, certain materials and fits have therefore become established in seafaring. The CPO shirt is one of these garments.
Originally, CPO shirts were made from wool fabrics. For our CPO shirts, however, we have used moleskin woven in Germany. Moleskin is a very robust fabric made from 100% cotton. One side is brushed, which makes it very comfortable to wear. The brushing gives it the look of suede or mole skin. This is where the name moleskin comes from.
Our 1943 CPO shirt features the following details:
-100% cotton, 410 g/m²
-Authentic, roomy 1940s fit
-Logo press studs
-Made in Turkey
Contains non-textile components of animal origin.
